Capital Real Estate launches user-friendly website

Client orientation and ease of navigation are key elements in the new Capital Real Estate website, its first since the company was set up two years ago.

Capital's managing director George J. Bonnici wanted to take a different approach to other real estate websites. "I took all my previous experience in real estate and applied it to making this site as rewarding as possible for visitors. We wanted to do our best not to disappoint people," he said.

All properties on the website, each with a photo, have been updated, so that all the ones that are listed on the site are actually on the market. "You will not find properties that have been sold or let a long time ago still listed on the site," Mr Bonnici affirmed.

The site is more personalised for users' individual requirements and is easy to navigate. It incorporates a normal search engine but, on top of that, more personalised search and investigation can be accessed through the 'Personal Assistant' function.

Users have to register their search criteria by ticking in a few boxes. "It is as simple as filling in the blanks," Mr Bonnici said. "Even a dinosaur with computers like myself can manage. The visitor's personal folder is created and properties that match the criteria of the user are placed in that personal folder. This folder is updated from time to time as new properties come on the market."

The user also receives an alert by e-mail and all correspondence is kept in that personalised folder. The user has a lot of control and a lot of options, which enrich the visitor experience. All types of property can be registered, whether they are residential, commercial or rental.

Anyone can register their property directly on the site. "We also advise clients on valuation and if the photo is forwarded for the website is not representative of the property," Mr Bonnici said.
