Obituary
COSSAI. On March 14, at Mater Dei Hospital, UGO of Valletta, aged 77, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Maryanne, his son Raymond, his daughter Sandra and her husband Michael, his grandchildren Daniel, Matthew, Christine and Sabrina, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8.30 a.m. for St Dominic's parish church, Valletta, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m., followed by interment at St Lawrence Cemetery, Gozo. Donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated.
FARRUGIA. On March 14, at Mater Dei Hospital, GAETANO, aged 92, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Tonio and his wife Joan, Isabella and her husband Dr Giacomo Fisichella, Anna and her husband Frank Caruana, his son-in-law Victor Ellul, widower of his daughter Marguerite, his grandchildren, their spouses and great-grandchildren, his brother Franz and his wife Lucy, residing in Australia, nephews and nieces, in-laws, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8.30 a.m. for Attard parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to The Malta Hospice Movement, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated.

SPITERI. On March 14, RONNIE, of Sliema residing at Rabat, aged 68, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church.
He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Doris, his sisters Stella, Jessie, Connie wife of Joseph Frendo, his brothers Emanuel and Vince husband of Margaret residing in the US, and his sister-in-law Imelda widow of his brother Charles.
His in-laws Rose wife of Paul Falzon, Jane wife of Charles of Australia, Josephine, Carmen his wife of Francis Mifsud, Paul and wife Mary, Vivienne wife of Frank Cachia of Australia, nephews and nieces especially Doreen and her husband Jim Cunningham, Franco Frendo and his wife Nathalie, Franco Azzopardi and his wife Elizabeth.
The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30 p.m. for St Paul's parish church, Rabat where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m. followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors.
URRY. Suddenly, on March 13, at Mater Dei Hospital, KEVIN (Director at McDonalds), aged 44, passed away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his beloved wife Carol, née Darmanin, his adorable children Francesca and Michela, his brother Joseph and his wife Sina, his sister Marie and her husband Stephen Formosa, his parents-in-law Annemarie and Joe, his brother-in-law, Dr Edward Darmanin and his wife Elizabeth, his sister-in-law Philippa and her husband John Said, and his only aunt Eileen Bonnici, nephews and nieces, relatives, friends and colleagues.
The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2 p.m., for Ta' l-Ibraġ parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors.

Chiara Lubich dies
The Focolari Movement yesterday announced the death of their founder Chiara Lubich aged 88.
Chiara Lubich passed away in her home at Rocca di Papa (Rome), where she had returned after having been discharged from the Gemelli hospital the night before.
Good Friday exhibition
A Good Friday exhibition was opened at the police headquarters in Floriana yesterday. The display is open from 8 a.m. to noon and from 5 to 8.30 p.m. until Wednesday; from 8 a.m. till midnight on Thursday; from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon and from 5 to 8.30 p.m. today and tomorrow week.
Easter bazaar
The Easter bazaar in aid of the Sta Venera parish church will be held at the Miriam Hall, entrance from Parish Street, between today and March 23. The bazaar will open Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. till noon and from 4 till 8 p.m.; from Monday to Wednesday from 4 till 8 p.m. and on Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon.
