Man arraigned over illegal manufacture, storage of fireworks
Francis Dalli. 46 of Gudja was granted bail today after being arraigned in court and accused of illegally manufacturing and storing explosive material in Gudja.
He was accused of having imported fireworks or operated firework factories without a licence and storing explosives without a licence from the Commissioner of Police.
He was granted bail on a personal guarantee of €2,000.
This was the second such arraignment since the Naxxar fireworks explosion on Wednesday.
