The Malta Canoe Federation will be holding the annual Manoel Island Race on March 30. The day's programme will include a 10K (3 laps) race, a 3K (1 lap) fun race and 200m sprints.

All races will be split according to boat classification (elite, sea kayak and doubles) and according to category (male, female and Under-18).

Over the years, the Manoel Island Race has drawn international interest with competitors hailing from Italy and Germany providing good competition for local athletes. It is anticipated that this year's event will also attract participants from clubs across Europe.
