FARRUGIA. On March 10, LEONARD of Kirkop, residing at Birkirkara, passed away peacefully at Mater Dei Hospital, aged 76, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Agnes, known as Ines, his daughter Pauline and Mark, his son Martin and his wife Anna, his other daughter Dorienne and her husband Romain, his grandchildren, his brother Frank and his wife Valerie, his in-laws, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8 a.m. for St Mary's parrochial church (known as knisja l-qadima), Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment in the family grave at All Souls Cemetery, Tarxien. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, would be appreciated.

GORRY. On March 9, at Casa Serena residential home, Buġibba, PATRICK JOSEPH (ex-Royal Engineers), aged 90, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sons Henry and his wife Iwona and her children Anna and Jacek, residing in the USA, Paul and his children Robert and Kirstie residing in the UK, his brother James and his wife Angela, his sister Flower, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Casa Serena today at 2.15 p.m. for St Julians parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3 p.m., followed by interment at Jesus of Nazareth Cemetery, Mqabba.

TARACHAND - NANDWANI FATUMAL, widower of Lachmibai, passed away peacefully, aged 93. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved children Arjan, Kishin, Ashok, Chandru, Kamlu and Meena, their respective spouses, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
The cremation will take place in London where a prayer service will be held.

THEUMA. On March 11, MARIA DOLORES, k/a Doris, of Santa Venera, aged 77, passed away peacefully at Karin Grech Hospital, comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by her family. She leaves to mourn her husband Joseph and her children Saviour and his wife Josette, Raymond and his wife Bernardette, Jesmond and his wife Natalina, her grandchildren Christopher, Steven and his fiancée Rosalie, Roderick and his girlfriend Dorita, Daniel and Maria, Natasha and Abigail, her sisters and her brother, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Karin Grech Hospital today at 7.45 a.m. for the Immaculate Conception parish church, Ħamrun, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.15 a.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No Flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated.

ZERAFA. On March 12, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH (ex-Leading Draughtsman, Malta Drydocks, and ship surveyor), of Żurrieq, aged 84, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Ursola, née Mula, his children David and his wife Catherine, Nazzareno and his wife Maria of Australia, Catherine and her husband Alexander Galea, Richard and his wife Jane, Joe and his wife Lina, Mario and his wife Josette, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his brother and sister, Nazzareno and Maria, and Karmena, widow of Mariano, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3 p.m. for St Catherine's parish church, Żurrieq, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m., followed by interment at St Leone Cemetery, Żurrieq. No flowers by request but donations to Suret il-Bniedem Foundation, Gżira, will be greatly appreciated.

St Patrick's Day

Due to the liturgical calendar, a special Mass will this year be celebrated at St Patrick's church, Sliema, on Saturday, March 15 (instead of on St Patrick's Day), at 10.30 a.m. for the Irish community and its friends. Visitors are also very welcome. Refreshments will be served after Mass.
