Yet again the Labour Party has lost a general election. It is clear the main reason why the MLP is not electable, even though thousands of traditional PN voters decided to remain at home last Saturday, is due to its leader Alfred Sant who simply is not credible enough to bring home the bacon.
Responsibility for this defeat also has to be carried by all the persons within the MLP who after the electoral defeat in 2003, did not muster enough courage to show Dr Sant the door.
I shall never forget that persons who had warned that the MLP would not achieve anything with Dr Sant at the helm were presented with letters from its disciplinary commission and had to resign.
Thus, for Dr Sant and his acolytes, the only way is out, for a truly new beginning within the MLP!
