Where Malta is concerned, the BBC has done it again. It has totally ignored the Malta election. Early on in its World Service there was a two-line mention of it but it was otherwise silent. Apparently, Malta is not part of the world community.

The BBC has a history of anti-Malta broadcasting. It even made fun of the sound of a band march during a rare feature on Malta. Now if it were a case of corruption in Swaziland or a failed tea crop in Timbuctoo, it would send its correspondents on expensive trips paid by the English taxpayer for a boring detailed report to a minuscule audience.

I e-mailed the BBC a few times to complain about their deliberate omission of events in Malta and their biased treatment of Malta whenever it suited them to mention the place but they never replied.
