Summer bursaries in the French language

The French Embassy is offering a number of bursaries in the French language for summer.

The bursaries offered include intensive courses in pedagogical techniques' for teachers of French (or future teachers) and French language courses for students specialising in French requiring a good knowledge of the language for their work. All bursaries last for a month and travel expenses are not included.

Interested candidates should complete the application form (in duplicate) and send it to the French Embassy, 130 Melita Street, Valletta, by not later than April 9. These forms are available on website www.ambafrance-mt.org/article. php3?id_article=386, or at the French Embassy and at the Alliance Francaise de Malte at 108 St Thomas Street, Floriana.

The French Embassy is also offering schemes to young Maltese scientists/engineers/students (Masters/Ph.D level) interested in following internships in French laboratories and institutions.

It also helps Maltese students wishing to further their studies in France by providing information about the extensive academic programmes offered by French universities and high schools.
