Ernst and Young tax services director Robert Attard recently delivered a lecture regarding taxation and the European Convention on Human Rights at a University of London institute as part of an EC tax module leading to an LL.M in taxation.

In the lecture Dr Attard discussed recent convention pronouncements on tax matters including tax cases related to violations of the right to property, the right to a fair hearing and protection from discrimination.

The lecture was delivered at the Institute for Advanced Legal Studies in London at the Centre of Commercial Law, Queen Mary, University of London.

Dr Attard is a prominent and highly respected tax expert who also lectures at the University of Malta and on courses accredited by foreign internationally accredited organisations such as STEP, ADIT and BPP.
