Over 90 cats for international show at Coastline Hotel
Picture purrrfect
Over 90 cats will be preened, puffed and manicured as they don their best fur coat in time for the International Cat Show on March 22 and 23 at the Coastline Hotel, Salina Bay.
Organised by the Malta Feline Guardians Club, the show will be judged by two professional World Cat Federation judges from Germany.
Since the show coincides with Easter Sunday, the club is promising that it will be a fun event for all the family, where cat lovers can share and learn more about their feline friends.
On March 22, the show will open at 2 p.m. and end at about 9 p.m., and on the following day doors open at 10.30 a.m. and close at about 6 p.m.
The public will have the chance to vote for their favourite cat and the best decorated cage. Apart from the chance to win several prizes, every visitor will get a voucher, which can be exchanged at Derek Garden Centre.
Those wishing to enter their cat in the upcoming show have until Monday. An application can be downloaded from www.maltacatshows. com or by calling Maryrose Zammit on 2124 6453/7924 6453.
