Man jailed 12 years for cultivating cannabis
Anthony Seychell, 47, of Zejtun has been jailed for 12 years and fined €25,000 after jurors unanimously found him guilty of having cultivated cannabis. He was also found guilty by a 7-2 margin of the possession of Cannabis.
The trial was presided by Mr Justice Joseph Galea Debono.

12 years for growing a plant?!?! If Mr.Seychell was a child molester who would get less than 3 years according to Maltese Laws!! Ridiculous!
I hope that Mr.Seychell's lawyers know that they can take such shameful verdict in front of the European Court of Justice.
