As far as I know, half of the Lm150,000 budgeting by government are going for a neutering programme for strays and the other half is going to improve facilities run by animal welfare NGO's.
The permits for the new animal aftercare clinic in Ta' Qali were only approved by MEPA towards the end of last year.

David Camilleri: "Ahna 40,000 sejrin nghidu. NO ANIMAL RIGHTS, VOTE LABOUR!"
If Sant can't even assure human rights, you honestly think he's going to assure animal rights? I'll let you and your 40,000 friends voting Labour (oh come on, be realistic, you don't know 40,000 people and therefore you can't say they're all voting Labour) figure that one out for yourselves.

There are also 40,000 votes from animal lovers.
Where are the Lm60,000 allocated in the 2007 budget?
Where are the Lm150,000 allocated in the 2008 budget?
We are being asked to pay around Lm6000 registration tax on a vehicle donated by a foreigh couple in 2003. The vehicle was going to be used as
an animal ambulance. This vehicle has been garaged since 2003.
Another vehicle was donated by a German couple last October also to be converted into an animal ambulance and we are being asked to pay Lm 1800 registration tax. Al that was needed was to waive off dues to government and we would have ended with more animal ambulances working for a good cause. What about the lotteries "good caused fund"?
Natalie Gauci's travelling expenses were paid out of this fund to enable her to sing three songs during the Malta Song festival?
Three great minds have all said in different ways?

The American Ambassador seems to be quite at home at Ta' Qali, afterall this adventure pard is enhancement to the nice bit of land her country bought of the Governement of Malta to house her mega Embassy.
It is the Animal Welfare Care Clinic which never materialized at Ta' Qali, but alas our four legged friends , abondoned strays have no vote and only get promises of funds in P.N. Budgets

This news should be placed in the 'Election Special' part as it is clearly that Tonio Fenech and Gorg Pulucino are trying to get their last bit of exposure!
