The Malta Feline Fanciers' 11th International FIFE cat show exhibition recently held at the Dolmen Resort, Qawra attracted a huge crowd. Some of the best cats on the island competed for the Best in Show title, which was won by a USA import 'Harwood for love or money' - a cream female Persian, owned and exhibited by Mark Micallef.

There were also the side classes, with a very strong participation from exhibitors. The MFF always exhibits a wide variety of cats, including rare breeds like the Burmilla and Burmese.

A novelty at this year's show was the Best Carnival Cat in Costume competition, won by a black and white kitten called Toby, owned by Mauro Gasan. The judges for this year were Ms J. Green of the UK and Mr. A. Shchukin of the Netherlands.

The next cat show is scheduled for March 16 and will be held at the Topaz Hotel, Buġibba.

Entries for the next show are open. For more information e-mail registrar@onvol.net or mff@di-ve.com or call 2756 5869/2167 7860
