First phase of Salina park inaugurated
Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi and Environment Minister Minister George Pullicino today inaugurated the first phase of the Salina national park
This phase included an extension of Kennedy Grove with thousands of new trees planted, as well as new picnic areas.
The project also included new rainwater drainage facilities.
The project's next phases will include rehabilitation of Kennedy Grove and the JFK Monument and restoration of the historic salt pans.

I strongly recommend careful consideration is given to the choice of trees, bearing in mind the havoc caused by spring time. Is it possible to plant some useful plants such as Bay Leaf?
