Vodafone last week organised a weekend of fun where hundreds of people, including tourists, joined in activities held at the Citadel, bringing the historic city to life.

The weekend activities included re-enactments, tours, a food and wine festival and a kids' area. The Citadel, candlelit by night, looked impressive with its majestic bastions and festive atmosphere. On Saturday night it hosted the Gozitan band Spektrum, Thea Saliba - the Vodafone Face competition winner for 2008, a gig by Ivan and Melvin of Winter Moods and by Bitterside. On Sunday, the night opened with a performance by Mistaken Identity while Johnny Cash and Band rounded up the activities.
