A delegation from eBusinessMalta.com, a consortium of e-business organisations, is in Macau for the Asian iGaming Congress and Expo (AiG).

AiG is the only gambling conference in Asia that focuses solely on i-gaming. AiG, now in its sixth year, is being held on a much larger scale, including an extended conference and a larger exhibition to help facilitate the networking opportunities the industry needs.

Revenue from casinos and other regulated gambling activities in Asia will grow at an estimated 14 per cent a year from 2005 to 2010, the fastest pace in the world. With regulation affecting i-gaming in key markets including the US, a number of online gambling initiatives are moving to Asia as regulations force them out of the West.

eBusiness Malta is made up of CSB Ltd, BMIT Ltd, iGlobal Payments Ltd, VacancyCentre.com (operated by the CSB Group) and Zammit & Associates - Advocates.
