A 34-year-old man yesterday pleaded guilty to possessing heroin and gambling illegally in a bar late last year.

Magistrate Lawrence Quintano heard Martin Debono of Ħamrun plead guilty to possession of heroin and engaging in illegal gambling at Liberty Bar in Ħamrun. He also admitted to relapsing.

Sentencing was put off for a later date.

Police Inspector Victor Aquilina prosecuted.
