I have supported the PN ever since I started voting. I recall the way it fought for democracy in the 1980s. The PN even boycotted Parliament after the 1981 election because the government of the day did not represent the majority of the electorate. This regard for the wishes of the electorate is to be commended. I am disappointed with the change of heart the PN is showing now.

It seems that the PN is not ready to share power with AD even if the electorate vote for it. The word is being spread that AD should not be given any voting preferences at all. Since there is a great probability that no major party obtains an absolute majority, we could end up with a situation where one party which represents less than 50 per cent of the population, governs.

I find this to be a very unhappy outcome which leaves a good part of the electorate unrepresented. In order to prevent such an outcome, I will vote for the two parties which I support, AD and PN.
