Archbishop visits Islamic school
Archbishop Paul Cremona this morning visited the Mariam Al Batool Islamic school in Corradino, where he stressed the importance of inter-religious dialogue.
Mgr Cremona was greeted and shown around by the Imam, Mohammed El Sadi, who explained that the school followed the Maltese national curriculum but also taught Arabic and Islam.
The schoolchildren produced a power point presentation on the different religions and also sang various songs, including one which said that Islam was about peace, not terrorism.
Mgr Cremona also met the school’s teachers, management and benefactors.
