Malta Journalism Review launched

The Tumas Fenech Foundation for Education in Journalism celebrated its eighth anniversary during a launch of the second volume of the Malta Journalism Review at the Hilton's Portomaso Suite.

President Emeritus Ugo Mifsud Bonnici chaired a round table which discussed the foundation's work and the review. Certificates were then distributed to police officers who attended a course offered by the foundation. Laurence Grech, former editor of The Sunday Times delivered a speech on the development of the English-speaking press in Malta.

Mario Schiavone, the foundation's administrator, gave an overview of the activities held by the foundation over the past year.

The Gukulari Ensamble provided a musical interlude, followed by a reception.
