Lija complaints

Why is it so difficult for Lija council to make people respect the law? Large vehicles still come through the village where they are prohibited, sometimes damaging property in the process.

Some dog owners do not bother to clean their pets' mess and one has to be careful where to tread while walking in the village.

The empty spaces to the left and right of the entrance to the primary school are an eyesore at times with the rubbish dumped in them.

This is also a bad example to the children attending the school.

There are other misdemeanours that go unchecked in the village but the ones I have mentioned have been reported to the authorities several times by several people but no action is ever taken.
