Zaragoza: Real Zaragoza have sent a written protest to the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) complaining about the refereeing decisions surrounding Barcelona's goals during their 2-1 home defeat on Saturday. Barca striker Thierry Henry appeared to control a pass with his arm before scoring his opener at La Romareda while Zaragoza argue that defender Juanfran did not handle the ball in the incident that resulted in Ronaldinho's match-winning penalty.

Senna: Spanish international midfielder Marcos Senna has been named in the Villarreal squad for tomorrow's UEFA Cup second leg last 32 match at home to Zenit St Petersburg after recovering from injury. Chile midfielder Mathias Fernandez misses out after failing to shake off muscle pain that has affected him for the last few days. Villarreal are trying to overturn a 1-0 deficit after the first leg.

Hitzfeld: Ottmar Hitzfeld will take over as Switzerland coach after Euro 2008. Hitzfeld, who had already announced his decision to step down as Bayern Munich coach at the end of the season, will begin work on July 1 on a two-year contract, the statement said.

Kalac decision: Milan goalkeeper Zeljko Kalac will be tested during the warm-up before today's Champions League clash at Arsenal to see if he can play after dislocating a finger, coach Carlo Ancelotti said. Dida, who recently lost his first team place to Australian Kalac, is already out for the first leg of the first knockout round tie with a back injury. If Kalac fails the fitness test, 38-year-old third-choice keeper Valerio Fiori will make his Champions League debut having not played for Milan since the 2003/04 season.

Cris Back: Brazil defender Cris, who has not played for six months, has been included in Olympique Lyon's squad for today's first leg of their Champions League first knockout round tie against Manchester United. "He is in the squad, which is good news," coach Alain Perrin, who is not expected to field Cris in his starting line-up for the match at Lyon's Gerland stadium, told a news conference yesterday.
