A dissemination seminar on the work done in a project on successful schools involved in community programmes is being held at the Malta Council for Science and Technology, Bighi, on February 27.
The seminar is targeted at education policy makers, education researchers, teachers, career guidance officers, as well as other key players and entities interested in the promotion of social cohesion through education in Malta and across Europe. It is being organised in response to the interest expressed in this research during a training seminar organised last November.
The project formed part of a larger FP6 project entitled 'Includ-Ed', which analyses educational strategies that contribute to overcome inequalities and promote social cohesion, and educational strategies that generate social exclusion, particularly focusing on vulnerable and marginalised groups.
