Australian week was celebrated last month at St James Cavalier Centre for Creativity in Valletta with a host of activities.

This annual event is organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Culture in collaboration with the Australian High Commission.

Wands Ltd held wine-tasting sessions during which visitors sampled a selection of fine wines from the Jacob's Creek and Wyndham Estate portfolio.

A presentation was made by Wands wine development manager Berenice Axisa. Apart from introducing the wines tasted during the evening, namely Bin 222 Chardonnay, Bin 333 Pinot Noir, Bin 444 Cabernet Sauvignon, Jacob's Creek Shiraz Rose, Jacob's Creek Chardonnay Reserve and Jacob's Creek Shiraz Reserve, Ms Axisa spoke about the varied Australian wine styles and differentiating factors between regional wines and inter-regional blends.
