Man held after drugs find in car, garage
A 19-year old man from Zebbug has been arrested after the police found him in possession of a quantity of cocaine.
The drug was found after investigations by the Drug Squad on suspicion that the man was involved in drug trafficking. The police had kept a garage under surveillance and then tailed the man.
The cocaine was found in several packets in his car, ready to be sold. More drug was later found in the garage. The man is expected to be arraigned in court shortly. Magistrate Doreen Clarke is holding an inquiry.
