Joe Grech has been unanimously elected president of the Gozo Business Chamber.

Mr Grech is a founder member of the chamber and has served as PRO, treasurer and vice-president.

He was chairman of the crafts committee of the chamber since its inception; founded the Gozo Trade Fair and chaired its committee between 2002 and 2004.

Mr Grech served as core member of the Gozo Regional Projects Committee; represented the chamber at meetings in Brussels and chaired the organising committee of the 7th Insuleur Forum of European Island Chambers of Commerce of the European Union, which was held in Gozo. Mr Grech also represented the chamber on other regional committees.
