Gozitan priests and seminarians attended the premiere of the Maltese film Anno Domini XXXIII, at the Citadel Cinema, Victoria.

Gozo Bishop Mario Grech was welcomed by Charles Camilleri and Tony Pace, manager of the Citadel Cinema and KRS representative respectively.

The film, written by Renzo Bonello, is about the events leading to the Passion of Christ, and is the first local feature film of the kind. The film's music soundtrack is by Ray Sciberras.

At the end of the showing, Mgr Grech was presented with a CD of the soundtrack by director Melvin Schembri.
