Three hooded men made off with some 400 euro in cash after they held up a lotto receiver and his wife in Gzira yesterday.

The police said the incident happened at about 8.40 p.m. in Princesss Margaret Street.

The couple had closed their lotto office and were walking to their car when they were approached by a hooded man who demanded they hand over their bag. At this point another two hooded men emerged from a parked car.

The three then escaped with the bag. No one was injured.
