Travelling in a bus, dubbed the Coach of Change, Labour leader Alfred Sant yesterday toured three towns in the eighth district which he's contesting with one common message - "We'll stop the government's agenda that takes people for a ride".

Accompanied by his two deputy leaders and the Labour candidates contesting the eighth district, Dr Sant was given a warm welcome in Lija, Sta Venera, and Birkirkara, Dr Sant's home town, by the small crowds who braved the evening chill to meet their leader.

On arrival at each town, the coach driver hooted the horn to alert the crowd as the song The Only Way is Up... Labour blared on the loudspeakers.

"People have a choice to change the people clinging to power," he said repeating his party's policies to safeguard families' interests and secure their quality of life.
