When do the homeless and poor Maltese and not so poor Maltese, get their free food, free homes, free medicines, exemptions from prosecutions in Court, exemptions for being registered with the ETC, exemptions from paying income tax, exemptions from paying VAT, be given money for free by the tax paying population etc etc ??? We Maltese have become second class citezens in our own country. Enough is enough. Vote AN.

Right-Wing Extremism, nice. Here goes the boogeyman tactic. MLP and PN are both centre-left party (with the illusion of the PN being to the right for those demonstrating a lack of knowledge on PN's political devolution towards centre-left Christian Democracy), AD is a liberal leftist party also harbouring amongst its ranks what are generally considered to be leftist extremists. Anything to the right of these becomes extremist in a political spectrum so geared to the left. Azzjoni Nazzjonali is definitely not perfect especially when it comes to presentation and certain positions that need fine-tuning (I actually read their electoral programme by the way), but they're extremist only to liberal leftists or leftist extremists, or more plausibly to people that want to retain the status quo and need a nice denigratory adjective to usher on an uneasy opponent.

This election just gets better and better :S
I wonder if Emmy Bezzina's liberal party will decide to contest too.
It would be good to balance off all the right-wing extremism that is emerging.
Then again like Joseph said, this election is important to decide which party and which leader will govern our country - so although I have no problem with voting for the smaller parties, I think everyone's number 1 should go to MLP or PN for practicality's sake.

The main point in this election is who do we want to lead us for the next five years; Dr.Sant or Dr.Gonzi?
Parties like AN and AD can only get one or two seats in parlament and those will be on the opposition side!
Therefore I ask - Who does Josie Muscat want to be the next leader of Malta; Yes his party may be right-wing, but the attitude and timing can put a left-wing goverment for the next 5 years, which would not be that bad if only Dr.Sant was not in it.
