'Snow' covers Victoria
Fields in Victoria, Gozo, were this morning blanketed in white after a freak hailstorm hit the sister island at around 6 a.m.
A reader told timesofmalta.com that upon looking out of the window soon after she woke up, she saw all the fields in front of her covered with hail. She told timesofmalta.com that footprints in front of her doorstep measured some 2 inches deep.
The current temperature in Victoria is 8.8°C.

I have a friendly argument with another Maltese in California. I told him that I seen hail but never snow in Malta. I am 77 years old. Who is right?
