Dancing couple Steven Fenech and Mandy Ghio recently represented Malta at the first Israel Open Wheelchair Dancing Championships in Tel-Aviv. Coach Pippa Roberts was on the international panel of judges.

The dancing couple placed third in the Ballroom Championship and fourth in the Latin American.

Steve and Mandy are looking for sponsors to be able to take part in more competitions abroad.

The Malta Wheelchair Dancesport Association is organising the fourth Malta Open Dance Spectacular later this year. The association encourages both wheelchair users and able-bodied dancers to take more interest in dance.
