Alternattiva Demokratika deputy chairman Stephen Cachia yesterday criticised the Nationalist Party for using the AD leader's young son to score a cheap political point.

Mr Cachia said it was immoral and shameful that Parliamentary Secretary Tonio Fenech tried to justify the Government's donation of Lm35,000 to organise the Juventus-Valletta football match by mentioning that even AD chairman Harry Vassallo's eight-year-old son had attended.

"Dr Vassallo's son attended the match as part of a local nursery as did thousands of other children," Mr Cachia said.
