Eighteen delegates from Le Méridien properties in Portugal, Poland, Germany, Croatia, UK and Belgium and four from Malta attended an intense five-day training programme at Le Méridien St Julians on the service culture transformation that is at the heart of Le Meriden's brand repositioning.
These delegates will help train the rest of the staff in their respective properties. The training was given by two senior Starwood trainers, Josephine Le Yannou, corporate training and development manager, and Christine Tomaselli, director of service culture training.
"The focus is to transform Le Méridien into a leading-edge lifestyle brand that attracts the creative guest by providing a chic, cultured, discovery experience," hotel manager Angela Saliba said.
Le Méridien St Julians is the only hotel in Malta representing the Le Méridien brand.
