Promoted mayor

It was reported that the Rabat mayor Francis Fabri has been appointed "as principal of a college of state schools". While congratulating Mr Fabri, his appointment gives the lie to the insidious accusations that only PN sympathisers are given promotions and important appointments.

Another headline in The Times quoted Alfred Sant as saying that the "PN (is) turning PBS into propaganda machine". Apparently, the days of Xandir Malta and "Run rabbit run" as well as the omission of the then Opposition Leader's name among other blatant propaganda items have all been forgotten by the speaker.
