The Nationalist Party is acting as if its re-election is inevitable. Its media are pushing the message that a vote for any other party is wasted and will not lead to any tangible results.

This is a patronising and condescending attitude. A vote for Alternattiva Demokrattika is a vote for a different, sensible and down-to-earth way of doing politics. It is a vote for true adherence to European values, not mere lip service to them.

AD is the only party which has struggled to promote transparent governance and citizen participation at all levels. It has stuck by its causes through thick and thin. It has not made any U-turns. Despite this, the PN wants to dismiss it as an obstacle in its exorable quest for power.

This attitude is offensive and wrong. Votes do not belong to anyone - least of all to a political party which thinks it is the only choice because the MLP is worse. It is precisely this attitude which could mean that instead of the PN's victory being inevitable, the PN becomes unelectable.
