Two teachers from Dun Alwiġ Camilleri Żejtun Primary 'A' recently visited Edgware junior and infant schools in the UK as part of the Comenius project 'Healthy Children in a Healthy Europe', which is now in its second year.
During the visit, teachers from partner schools in the UK, Romania, Germany and Malta shared the work underaken by the respective school pupils.
The project's main theme this year is 'Healthy Mind', and the Maltese teachers were pleased to note that Edward De Bono's thinking hats are being practised at UK school, which is attended by many children from various countries.
The teachers said that Comenius visits made them become more aware of the need to share ideas through which they become closer and more willing to co-operate with one another.
