Archbishop visits Żebbuġ school

Archbishop Paul Cremona recently visited Garendon School, a private school in Żebbuġ, on the occasion of its 20th anniversary.

After concelebrating Mass at Żebbuġ parish church for the parents, teachers and pupils from the school's kindergarten and primary sections, Mgr Cremona visited the school where the children greeted him enthusiastically, singing songs, waving yellow and white streamers and letting off balloons.

Principal Marlene Tua gave a brief history of the school and a parent, Roderick Cutajar, also delivered a short speech.

Mgr Cremona and other guests from the Education Division, the Archbishop's Curia and the Żebbug clergy were later hosted to a reception at the school.
