Home internet at €3 from Blueskies

Customers subscribing to the Blueskies internet broadband scheme can opt for Vodafone Malta Ltd's high speed WiMAX broadband internet offer. For only €3 (Lm1.29) a month, customers eligible for this offer will get a 2 MB connection with a 12GB download limit, free installation and free activation with no hidden costs.

Vodafone is the only company in Malta offering a fixed wireless internet connection: this service does not require a telephone line or cable connection.

Registration for the Blueskies scheme has been extended until February 8. Application forms can be collected from Vodafone shops in Paola, Birkirkara, the Embassy complex in Valletta, and Arkadia, Gozo. Registration for home internet can also be made at Vodafone shops.

Only households that have not had a broadband internet connection since December 1, 2007, may apply for the Blueskies scheme. Households which are currently served with a dial-up connection may still apply. Each household may only benefit from one broadband service.
