Obituary
CHETCUTI. On January 31, at his residence in Valletta, VINCENT, widower of Philippa, aged 75, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Raymond, Charlie, Noel and Lino of Canada and their respective wives, his grandchildren, his sisters Nena and Lilly of Canada, Jane, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves his residence today at 9 a.m. for St Augustine parish church, Valletta, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Villa Mgr Gonzi, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated.
Lord, grant him eternal rest.
KENT-GIBBS - AUDREY. Passed away peacefully after a short illness on January 28, at Casa Antonia, Balzan. Loving mother to John and Hilary, special grandmother and wonderful friend to many in Malta and Gozo, an island she truly loved. Will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of her life to be arranged in Gozo for her family and friends.
PACE. On January 29, TESSIE, née Muscat, aged 71, formerly of Floriana, residing at Blata l-Bajda, passed away peacefully at Mater Dei Hospital to meet the Risen Lord. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband Bert, her children Frank, Josanne and her husband Nicholas Micallef, Marica and her husband Oliver Chetcuti, Tonio and his wife Belinda, her beloved grandchildren, her sisters Lina and her husband Joe Sultana, and Doris Borg, her in-laws Mary Mallia and Carmelina Pace, Anton and his wife Maryanne, residing in USA, and Joseph Buttigieg, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends, including the Ħamrun Celloli Prayer Group. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2 p.m. for St Cajetan parish church, Ħamrun, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors.
REFALO. On January 31, JOHN, aged 56, passed away peacefully at Mater Dei Hospital comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Martha, his children Adrian and his fiancée Margaret, Robert and his wife Christine, his sister Miriam and her husband Karmenu, and his brothers Victor and his wife Ruth and Patrick and his wife Rita, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. R.I.P.
The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30 p.m. followed by Mass praesente cadavere at Sta Luċija parish church at 2 p.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery.

ZARB. On January 30, at Mater Dei Hospital, CARMEL ANDREA, aged 84, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Antoinette, his daughters Mariella and her husband Anand Dayal and Candida and her husband Anton Azzopardi Giappone, his sons Tonio and his wife Doris, John and his wife Nadya, Andre and his wife Nadia and Nicky, his grandchildren Noella, Francesca, Martin, Michael, Adele, John, Michelle, Angele and Christopher, his brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 7.45 a.m. for St Gregory the Great parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.45 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Salesian Missions will be appreciated.

Photography Masterclass
Photographer Paul Mizzi delivered a photography masterclass at the annual convention of the Society of Weddings and Portrait Photographers of the UK which was held in Hammersmith, London last month.
The subject presented by Mr Mizzi was Improving Sharpness In Professional Photography.
Mr Mizzi demonstrated sharpness distribution control among other techniques using his Sinar view camera equipped with a 39 Mega Pixel digital sensor.
Over 8,500 professional photographers from across the world attended the convention.
Mr Mizzi is the managing director of The Foto Grafer Limited of Fgura.
Letterbox Collection Times
Mail from three letterboxes in Nadur and four in Victoria will be collected at 6 p.m. instead of 7 p.m. due to the carnival activities.
Maltapost will be putting notices on each of these letterboxes denoting the collection time cut-off and the nearest 7 p.m. collection letterbox.
The affected letterboxes in Nadur are LB 547 in Nadur Square, LB 544 at the Nadur Retail Counter and LB 546 in Triq Diċembru Tlettax.
Those affected in Victoria are LB 501 at the Victoria Branch Office, LB 503 in St Francis Square, LB 506 in Triq Ir-Repubblika and LB 507 in Triq Fortunato Mizzi.
Carnival Goodies
Those visiting the Eden SuperBowl during the mid-term holidays dressed in a carnival costume will be given a goodie bag consisting of a free entrance ticket to Razzett tal-Ħbiberija, free entrance to Once Upon A Time's Castle of Dreams and a free Bowl 'a' mama and Cinemum entrance ticket.
