HSBC announced yesterday that it is adjusting downwards its Euro Base Rate by 10 basis points, from 4.1 per cent to four per cent with effect from today.

All HSBC personal lending, mortgage lending and business lending will automatically be adjusted downwards by 10 basis points providing cheaper lending to the bank's customer base.
