Vodka's prospects (2)

After reading Steve Compagno's Missed Opportunity in Tuesday's The Times, it confirmed that the gentleman doesn't have a clue what he's talking about unless he wants to take the whole of Malta for a ride.

Morena was like a breath of fresh air and I'm sure she will simply laugh at such nonsense. Whatever the result in May, Malta will cut a fine figure this time.

For your information, Mr. Micallef, "cutting a fine figure" is a widely used expression in the English language. I suggest you look it up in a dictionary before commenting.

What figure which happens to be fine will she be cutting may I ask? A figure of what? Please specify. And why should she cut it? - Or maybe you meant "she will leave a good impression" maybe?
