EIE extends sponsorship deal

The European Institute of Education (EIE) has renewed its sponsorship deal with Zebbug Tennis Club (ZTC) for the second consecutive year.

In line with its Corporate Social Responsibility agenda, EIE is committed to promote the science of sports to its students.

Through this deal, EIE students will be benefiting from free memberships with ZTC and special offers when purchasing tennis equipment from the club.

Antonello Cappitta, EIE's managing director, presented the sponsorship funds to David Attard, ZTC's technical director.

EIE is licensed by the Ministry of Education as a tertiary higher education teaching institute representing various foreign established universities such as University of Leicester and IUKB, of Switzerland.

TCK tournament

The Tennis Club Kordin will be holding the San Michel Team Tournament at their premises between March 8 and May 18.

Applications will be received on-line through website www.tennisclubkordin.com by not later than February 17.

TCK said there will be no change in format. Those wishing to captain one of the teams are urged to phone club chairman Benny Vidal on 21-690874.
