Driver restrains car thief
A driver yesterday managed to restrain a man who allegedly had just stolen electronic equipment from cars parked in Triq San Publiju, Floriana, the police said.
The police said they were tipped about the theft by an anonymous caller. The driver happened to have electronic equipment stolen from his car.
The 32-year-old alleged thief is being held by the police for further investigation.
