Another medal for our energetic Minister for Infrastructure. The media report that the Kirkop chapel restoration will be completed by the end of the year, also that work has been taken in hand at St Paul's Church in Valletta for the restoration of old carved architecture in the sacristy.

Saving our chapels all over the island is very important but so is the preservation of the main cemetery, the Addolorata. This has been described on many occasions in the media as the "crumbling cemetery". However, the area has to be cleaned up and brought up to the standard expected before work goes ahead.

If the Ministry cannot cope with this work, how about our energetic Heritage Malta together with Fondazzjoni Wirt Artna giving a helping hand?
