Four Libyans arrested for living in Malta illegally

The police have arrested four Libyans found to be staying in Malta without valid documents.

The arrest followed a raid on an apartment in Rudoph Street, Sliema, this morning.

The police said officers had to break into the apartment when people inside were heard trying to escape after the police identified themselves.

The arrested men are aged between 24 and 29.

I wonder how Mr Leo Borg managed to come to his estimate of foreigners working illegally. I just hope he is not assuming, since when you assume one tends to make an ass(of )u(&) me

It is estimated that the amount of foreigners living and working in Malta illegally at any one time is equivalent to double the amount of Maltese nationals without employment.
