1 p.m. Mrs Fenech Adami attends lunch with members of the President's Ball Committee at Villa Arrigo, Naxxar.

6 The President is presented with a copy of The Maltese History Week proceedings by the president of the Malta Historical Society, Prof. Mario Buhagiar at the Palace, Valletta.

6.30 The President presides over the launching of the book Id-Dar Maltija by Salvator Mousù.
