Fino bids farewell to retiring employee

After 42 years of service, Alfred Camilleri, known as Fredu il-foreman, has retired after a long career with the furniture company, Fino.

Starting as an assistant tradesman in 1965, he worked his way up to the role of foreman in 1988. He learnt his trade from the founder, Carmelo Fino.

"Fredu was always a trust-worthy person, who worked diligently. He was faithful to the company, and respected his directors and workmates," commented Anthony Fino, director of C. Fino & Sons Ltd.

Born in 1946, Mr Camilleri recounted his experience with Fino, stating that the company was like his second home. "I always tried to give my best, both to my directors and my fellow workmates. I will certainly miss being in a place where I grew up, learnt my trade and met so many fine people."

The board of directors and all the staff at Fino thanked Mr Camilleri for the service he provided and wished him the best of luck.
