The chairman of the Malta Environment and Planning Authority, Andrew Calleja, has filed a libel suit against Victor Galea, secretary general of Alternattiva Demokratika.

Mr Calleja felt libelled by comments posted on Alternattiva's website on December 3, 2007 relating to Mr Calleja's character.
