European Socialists' appointment
Claudette Baldacchino, vice-president of the Local Councils Association and deputy mayor of Qrendi, has been appointed the manifesto coordinator for gender dimension of the Party of European Socialists.
The manifesto is for the 2009 European Parliament elections.
The other PES coordinators are Michel Delebarre on New Social Europe, Karl-Heinz Klär on European Democracy And Diversity, Claudio Martini on Save Our Planet and Anna Terron I Cusi on Europe In The World.
